You noticed I avoided the obvious pun, there, right?
The folks at Sew, Mama, Sew and elsewhere have wonderful posts that make sewing look fun and easy and relaxing. Trouble is, so many of them assume (and rightly so) a basic working knowledge of how to stitch and assemble and whatnot.
I would love for anyone who reads this, once I get it published, to send along links for good “Getting Started in Sewing/Quilting” sites you’ve found in your travels. Or books – I’ll go old-school for this!
I should take a class, but that involves time I generally don’t have, and I’m somewhat of a social recluse, anyhow. Any tips welcome. 🙂
